Wednesday Why: Food, Music, Art and Good Times

We LOVE seafood too and can’t wait to chow down on some delicious Louisiana shrimp spaghetti and other delectable bayou delights at the official opening of the Why Should We Save Coastal Louisiana photo project exhibit at the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum on Saturday, September 8th. We hope you’ll come out and join us for this free event featuring food, music, folk art, touloulou races, a silent auction, information and more. Of course, our photo project will be on exhibit and we’ll be there with our camera to hopefully document many more reasons why south Louisiana is so special and deserves to be preserved. The event kicks off at 4:00 PM. The Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild will also be holding its annual Art After Dark event, kicking off at 6:30 PM, so they’ll be no shortage of excitement happening in downtown Houma. A HUGE thank you to the Houma Regional Arts Council for helping to sponsor this event.
