We’re getting geared up for the first annual Best of the Bayou Festival, which is a FREE festival in Terrebonne Parish celebrating the best in music, food, arts and culture of the bayou!! This festival will be in historic Downtown Houma on Sept. 29-30. Be sure to stop by Bayou Grace’s “Why Should We Save Coastal Louisiana?” photo project” table and tell us your why. We’ll be armed with poster board, markers and a fully charged camera to document your love of south Louisiana.
If you haven’t yet seen the “Why Should We Save Coastal Louisiana?” exhibit currently on display at the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum, this weekend is the perfect opportunity. The museum will be open during both days of the festival. Come out and and see the many “Whys” that are part of this very special exhibit. Don’t forget to come see us and give us your reason why coastal Louisiana should be saved.
If you’d like to join the hundreds of participants who’ve answered the question, “Why Should We Save Coastal Louisiana?”, but can’t make it to The Best of the Bayou Festival, send your submission to photoproject@bayougrace.org. And don’t forget to check out our gallery of photo-project submissions.
