HELP SUPPORT OUR RELIEF EFFORTS!
Bayou Grace and Episcopal Community Services of Louisiana have provided grocery, school uniforms and utility assistance to residents affected by the oil disaster. We have also teamed up to provide our Building Community Resiliency through Community Dinners program. We hope to continue to this assistance along with transportation, legal navigation and spiritual and pastoral care to our residents in lower Terrebonne Parish. Bayou Grace continues to assess and gather current information related to this disaster, document the impacts, advocate for the full social, environmental and economic recovery of our bayous and plan for continued needed response.
DONATIONS NEEDED:
1. To purchase food and transportation gift cards to be given to impacted residents. (Bayou Grace is committed to patronizing local businesses wherever possible through this effort.)
2. To purchase supplies for free community dinners.
3. To purchase school uniforms from local businesses for the upcoming school year.
4. To hire a local coordinator to help with efforts at the Bayou Grace office.
5. To help with added overhead costs associated with this disaster response.
